Unplug and Play 2021

The Kamloops Music Collective is excited to be a part of the Interior Savings Unplug and Play Series 2021, coming to you virtually this year! Unplug and Play is a community initiative that encourages families to "unplug" from technology and spend a day working with local organizations to have some fun and learn about family literacy! In the past we have seen sports, dance, singing, and so much more! This year the Kamloops Music Collective is proud to be offering an Instrument Build Workshop with the talented Mandy Maher and Carson Sautner.

When: Sunday Jan 24th

Time: 2 PM- 2:45 PM

Available For: Families with kids aged 4-8

Location: Online (Zoom).

Instructors: Mandy Maher and Carson Sautner

Cost: Free

We welcome families with young children aged 4-8 to sign up for this interactive workshop, where you will get to create your own Maracas with kits provided by the Kamloops Music Collective! Young children may require an extra set of hands at times.

After everyone completes their set of Maracas, Mandy and Carson will lead participants through the songs: Down By the Bay and You Are My Sunshine! All that is required to participate in this workshop is a computer with video and audio, and a whole lotta enthusiasm!
