Rapid Fire Questions with Dr. Blaine Alexandre

How long have you lived in Kamloops? I was born in Kamloops but moved away for a while. At the age of 17 I moved back and have been here ever since.

Did you play any instruments growing up? No, I'm a vocalist(currently in the band Forum).

Why do you think music is important for youth?  We gotta keep our youth involved in something right? Left to their own devices… It's not pretty. I used to be one of those! Music really gives people focus and something to achieve.

What's your favorite thing to do in Kamloops? Play music. 

Where’s your favorite place to play music in Kamloops? Blue Grotto and Music in the Park.
